What is Ironwood Golf and Country Club?
Ironwood Golf and Country Club is a semi-private golf and social club privately owned by Renaissance Golf Group, LLC with headquarters in Wilmington, NC. 
 
Where is Ironwood located?
Ironwood Golf and Country Club is located at 200 Golf Club Wynd in Greenville, NC, within the Ironwood residential community which is situated along the Tar River on N.C. Highway 43 North just minutes from downtown Greenville, East Carolina University and Vidant Medical Center. 
 
What amenities are available for use at Ironwood Country Club?
Club amenities include:
  • An eighteen-hole Lee Trevino designed golf course
  • A practice range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunkers
  • A 14,000 square foot clubhouse which includes:
    • A formal dining room and bar area with panoramic views overlooking the 18th hole of the golf course
    • A full service golf shop and golfers grill 
    • Men’s and women’s locker rooms
    • Conference/meeting rooms, banquet rooms and administrative offices
    • Multiple patio and deck areas with seating
  • A competition size swimming pool, with snack bar and air conditioned men’s and ladies locker rooms
  • 2 Lighted Har-Tru tennis courts
How does the golf course compare to others in the area?
Measuring over 7,000 yards from the back tees, the par 72 championship golf course will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Multiple tees, sculpted greens and fairways, challenging bunkers and lakes and spectacular views greet golfers at every turn. The Lee Trevino design is very member friendly and player friendly with excellent practice facilities.
 
Are Corporate memberships available?
Yes. A limited number of Corporate memberships are available to meet the demand for corporate memberships.
                       
Do members have exclusive access to golf starting times?
Yes. Members may make tee times up to seven days in advance. 
 
Will members of my family be permitted to use my membership privileges?
Yes. Most Club memberships included family membership privileges which cover a spouse/significant other and any unmarried dependent children under the age of 24.
 
Will my spouse be entitled to my membership upon my death?
Yes.  Upon your death, your spouse may continue as a Club member without the payment of any additional initiation fees.
 
Can a member own a private cart?
Only home owners that are residents of Ironwood may own and operate a private cart following and agreeing to Ironwood Golf and Country Club Rules and Regulations.
 
Will the Club members be allowed to have private parties at the Club?
Yes. Members and others permitted by the Club may have private parties at the Clubhouse with advanced notice and in ways that result in the least possible inconvenience to all Club Members.  Private parties will be coordinated through our Food and Beverage Department.
 
Is there Member dining at the Club?
Yes. Ironwood has full service dining areas serving brunch, lunch and dinner on select days of the week as well as a golfers snack bar that is open in accordance with the Ironwood Golf Shop hours.
